Piracy in Gulf of Aden. i.b.s. deploys an own MRU Maritime Response Unit.

As seen in the piracy reports 2007 and 2008 of the IMB International Maritime Bureau as well in daily news, pirate attacks on vessel worldwide but especially around the East Coast of Somalia and the Gulf of Aden has growing up very excessive. Heavy violations against the crews and kidnapping of crews and ships are the normal procedure of those criminals who are attack vessels from each nationality or flag to press ransom.

In order to be able to resolutely counteract such possible attacks also against vessels shipping companies, this is to protect vessels of international shipping companies through armed protection boarding teams of i.b.s. Internationale Bodyguard- & Sicherheitsagentur within the scope on anti-piracy-program service of our company.

For this purpose, we stay in continuous contact with few shipping companies in order to discuss the project contract as well the terms and conditions for our services to realize it by short notice. 

According to our short-term-planing and the received requests, our service would be available first around the Gulf of Aden and later on in other piracy hot spots.
